Commentsvery nice site, glad to see something like that put together. I left torrance in 79' and came back from overseas in 82' and everyone I knew had moved. It was a bit depressing that people you knew from kindergarten were gone and no real way to find them. Tonight I made contact with people I have not seen or heard from in twenty years. anyways I am still a computer virgin....what do you mean to reload or refresh your browser:) when you have time please let me know thanks jb
CommentsWhat a wonderful site! Tell me is that really Ilene Tharp? I haven't seen her in years, so I'm not sure. Let me know. Jodi
CommentsWe Straub's are a tenacious lot. My branch of the Straub Family is in NJ, Wisconsin and Panama. My Grandfather was from Brooklyn, NY. The closest I can figure, we are decedent from Johann Straub who came to the US around 1763. Our Coat of Arms is a Stag below three stars. Straub means Red Haired or Rough Haired One. Our Coat of Arms goes back to 1571.

CommentsHi, I found your Site while searching for Straub. My name is Stroup, but I understand that somewhere along the way that it was changed from Straub. My Grandfather was born in Pennsylvania in 1844 and I was wondering if your 'Grandpa Straub' or any of you would have any information on your ancestors? I have been doing a lot of digging all (so far,) to no avail. It's like looking for the proverbial 'needle'! BTW, NICE Web Page!

CommentsCute, but where are the family photo's of the REAL us? And what about the other family critter's? Don't you think that the cousin's Hamilton, Equia Shadow, Sassy, Wonder and Miss C. deserve their 15 minutes of fame too? Willow can't believe you chose that picture of her... THERE SHOULD BE AT LEAST ONE HIPPO INVOLVED IN ALL OF THIS!!!! Things always look better w/ a hippo in the picture.

CommentsDear Straub Family. I was searching the web and came across your family web site. I was very impressed. I live in Ohio, but my Grandfather (Conrad J. Straub) was from upstate NY. Anyway, job well done on the site!
CommentsI am a North High Alumni (Class of 1977) who started up my own business as an Event Coordinator and Balloon Designer after, along with a very good friend of mine, Mary Martinez, putting together the Class of 1977's 20 year reunion a couple of years ago. I noticed on your NHS web site that the reunions that you are showing planned are being done by Great Reunions. While a lot longer in business than my company, Just R.S.V.P. Events, I was wondering if any of the classmates you have reached have inquired to you as to who they should use for their reunions? The '77 reunion was a great success and the opportunity to coordinate the Alumni reunions for North would be a great honor to me. Please let me know if you hear of anything. Best Regards, Diane
CommentsI ran across your web page and I love it. My maiden Name is Straub and I wish I new as much about my family as you do. My father Harry Straub never talked about the family tree or even is father for that matter. Ithink what your doing is great. Keep up the good work. FROM ONE STRAUB TO ANOTHER. Nancy (Straub) Holben PS. If you have a family tree and either Harry or Frank Straub shows up I would be very interested.
